I had an ultrasound today I’m on 50mg of clomid CD 2-6. I’m on day 11 and had my ultrasound and she said I only had one dominant follicule which was 14mm and lining was 5.6mm. She didn’t seem to think this was a great response to the clomid and gave me the info to discuss with my consultant on 9th April. I feel so disheartened and deflated as I was really hoping for a more positive results. I have never really had regular periods, always induced by provera so I have no idea what an average cycle length is for me and if I could ovulate later. What do you ladies think of these results? Anyone had similar situations? I’m thinking the next step will just to increase the dosage?
Just holding for a bit of positive news to cling to!

Hi.... remember your still on day 11 you still have time to grow that juicy folicule, and your lining can still get thicker over the next couple of days.
If your still worried ask them to review the medication to a higher dose or difference medication completely, i had one of the side effects clomid gives which can be to thin your lining so I’m due to change my medication to something that does not effect my lining thickening x
Hey thank you for your reply. I did wonder if those results at day 11 meant I was out the game or still had a bit of a chance? It’s so hard when you have no idea when you ovulate anyway! She didn’t seem too positive about it but then it was the sonographer and I guess will have to discuss with the consultant on the 9th April - which isn’t a million miles away but feels it at the moment when I’m desperate for some positive news to cling too! Xx
I think you have a chance, if I was in your position I’d get some ovulation tests and see if you get a peak result over the next few days as your only on day 12. Hopefully you ovulate between day 14-16 letting your folicule grow & lining get thicker x
Hi, I know how you must feel but when I had my first round and had my ultrasound my follicles were 14mm around the same day as you and my consultant seemed happy with that! He didn’t mention my lining tho, your still early in your cycle it just might mean you ovulate later. I had 4 rounds of clomid being a bit hit and miss, one month I’d ovulate and the next literally nothing! Try to stay calm, they’d told me on my 4th cycle that my progesterone was too low so I hadn’t ovulated.... then my period never came and I found out I was pregnant! I’m now 10 weeks. Honestly try and stay as positive as you can and relaxed(easier said than done I was a hormonal mess on clomid) but everyone’s body’s are different and clomid might just be making your cycles longer to ovulate later🤞🏼! I’m sending you so much baby dust and love🤞🏼🤞🏼💞xxx
