Double trouble on board 🙃🥰😅

It’s been a long time since I posted on here but today we had our fifth fresh transfer from our fourth round of IVF..

We had EC last Wednesday and got 9 eggs (good for me as low amh) 6 were mature and 4 fertilised normally. On Saturday (day 3) we had an 8 cell, 2x 6 cells and a 4 cell which embryologist said were all developing normally (we’re at a new hospital which use embryoscope). Today it was good news but we had to decide whether to put the best one (our only blasto) back on it’s own or put back with another the second best one which isn’t quite a blastocyst but looking good. It was good to hear that all 4 embryos were still developing at day 5 and relieved to have at least 1 blasto. But even though all 4 survived and were still developing she said if we just did a single embryo transfer the other 3 didn’t quite make the grade for freezing. So as they offered to put 2 back to help our chances we went with that rathe than waste it. It would be our dream to have twins so wanted the chance. This time has been so different and we’ve been so impressed with this new clinic - we’ve had the embryoscope, endometrial scratch, embryo glue and they also found I had high thyroid levels so put me on levothyroxine which brought them right down so we’re pretty hopeful... just not looking forward to the anxiety/torture of the next 12 days...

Please please please let this be our time and for us to get at least one miracle baby from this! Really sorry for the long post but we haven’t told anyone this time other than work so needed to share!! 🤞🏻🙏🏻💝💝xx thanks for reading

Oh so exciting. Wishing you lots of luck xxx can I ask if you don’t mind what kind of protocol you were on in retrieving 9 eggs? As I have Low AMH also, 4.86 and have only ever got 4 folicles in both ivf cycles I did. I know it only takes one, but I’d love to have more to give better chances. X thank you. X

Hi yes I was on short protocol for first time and my amh is 4.5. On our third cycle tho we got 11 eggs and 7 fertilised and that was long protocol but I also did acupuncture and increased my protein intake and I’m adamant that helped as previous 2 cycles we had just 1 egg and 4 eggs retrieved so it just goes to show xx

Wow that’s a big difference. I was on long protocol too this time round. Did estrogen priming. Gonal F. And menupor max doses. I also did acupuncture for 5 months weekly before second cycle and took all the recommended supplements for 5 months too, still same amount of folicles. ☹️ My amh is 4.86. Maybe my body just ain’t able to make anymore. Thanks for the reply and best of luck.xx
