How heavy is 'heavy lifting'?! Who else is in 2ww?

Starsandsunbeams profile image

So, I'm in my 2ww and wondering how heavy is 'heavy'? I'm not straining by lifting anything, but is a basket of washing from the machine ok? Probably sounds stupid, but I'm questioning myself. I'm trying to be rational but sometimes other thoughts appear! Xx

I would say it’s ok but be careful with bending, try to avoid it. Good luck xx

I didn't lift a thing in my tww as I wanted to be super careful. Look after yourself and let your partner do the lifting and the washing 😉

I had no idea to be honest. I’ve just carried on as normal and have been to the gym but I don’t know what’s best. J would just say take some help and do what feels best for you xx

It's probably fine but it's a good excuse to let your OH handle the housework for a week or two!! Good luck xxx

Thanks, it is a great excuse! We both hate changing bed sheets, but now he has to do it 😉😂 x

I refused to hoover as it’s a big Henry one. If you have pets don’t handle any poo, litter trays etc x

My doctors said anything heavier than a full kettle would be out. But I am sure they are just being very cautious xx
