Update on eggs!

Embryologist rang this morning.... it’s the most anxious of waits!!

4 eggs have fertilised and all looking good!!

I feel like 4 is a low number but she assured me it’s good!!

Start pessaries tomorrow then transfer highly likely to be Monday afternoon 😊 😍

Hi well done I had 5 eggs fertilise normally and felt the same but ended up with 1 excellent 2 very good blastocysts so it doesn’t always take loads 😊 we still had 4 good on day 3 too. It’s so nerve wracking waiting though isn’t it! I’m on 2ww now and it’s awful. Best of luck xxx

Brilliant news! Well done we had 6 fertilise, but are expecting more of a drop off nearer blastocyst stage because we’re dealing with sperm dna damage, which kicks in later. Everything crossed for you! Xx

4 is great, it's quality rather than quantity

I had 8 eggs collected last Weds, 4 fertilised, 2 lovely blasto's were popped back in on Monday and on Tues I had the call to say that I had another cracking blasto which could be popped in the freezer. It's the 2ww for me now, but remaining positive. Sending you lots of happy thoughts too xxx

I only had 6 eggs and only 4 fertilised. Only 3 were good by day 5. One is now my beautiful Lucy who is 8 months old and two in the freezer. Don’t focus on numbers. Good luck xx
