D14 = 20, 16, 15 & 12mm follicles

So d14 of stims and follicles measuring 20, 16, 15 & 12mm. This is the best we could have expected. Will keep going with stims for another 2 days and have another scan. Hopefully egg collection will now be in 5 days time.

We watched the Netflix documentary ‘One more shot’ last night and I blubbered my way through it. Its worth watching! It’s such a tough journey but for now I remain hopeful and positive. Xx

I’ll admit it is tough to watch but has really helped me understand our options. It’s definitely helped my husband to better understand everything too as bless him he finds all this medical stuff really overwhelming.

I haven't seen that documentary yet, but will check it out. I really enjoyed the Netflix drama Private Life, about a couple going through various options to have a child. Pretty accurate on the frustrations of infertility and weirdness of ART.Great actors... X

I'm OK, my fourth round didn't go well. And I think that's pretty clear to me no more goes with my own eggs. So taking some time to deal with that. I have 1 good embryo from my first round, I don't know when I'll try that, for now I'm stepping back into normal life for a bit! Thinking of you and rooting for it to go well x

I’m so sad to read it hasn’t gone well. Take the time you need. Look after yourself physically & emotionally. This journey can be such a drain on our mental health. When you are ready you will know and you still have that precious embryo on ice. Xx
