Please don’t read if this upsets you ( and I won’t be offended in anyway) I won’t post any scan pic here coz I know how seeing them can be whilst having a difficult day.
We had our 20 week scan ( it’s going so quickly now!) & our baby is completely healthy; was a bit of a monkey & moved in difficult positions to see organs; I had to empty bladder, then that didn’t work so had to do star jumps hubby was cracked up 🤣 eventually as I moved on my side ( my idea) she got a better view.
We were desperate after knowing all was well with the baby to know the gender; they crossed their legs! Luckily in the end midwife managed to see enough to for her to be sure it was a girl! 💝Had to be to be that awkward 🤣 a little sister for my son I’m so lucky 💙💝
We are delighted ( but we would’ve been happy either gender) Some work colleagues asked my hubby at Christmas party what his preference was. He declared neither & was just happy to have a baby after so long of trying ( 7 years 1 month) not sure why anyone would have a preference find that a bit odd 🤔 we just wanted a healthy baby ❤️
It was a really difficult journey getting there & it was the toughest thing I’ve ever done. At times we never felt we get there & never thought I’d be writing a post like this, to try to give others hope it can happen ❤️ and keep believing your time will come. I think we appreciate it so much more ❤️

Awww congratulations. I’m glad ur scan went well. I remember reading ur story not long ago. Wow 20 weeks went so quick. Glad baby is growing nicely n soon u will be here. I’m so happy to hear happy story. I kno it’s really hard journey for a lot of people but I pray every gets happy ending too.
Congratulations on your scan another milestone achieved. Im so pleased for you that all went well. What a relief. Awww you're gona have a baby girl how sweet. Im with you, doesnt matter what the sex as long as baby is healthy. Jess you are half way there well done both of you for getting this far and for not giving up. My scan is on monday...i am nervous excited and worried. I need reassurance.
Have you felt any flutters so far? If so when did they start?

I have felt little flutters from 16 weeks ( this my second successful pregnancy) but only when I’m lying on my side. My midwife said we might feel kicks from 20 weeks ( I haven’t yet) but some women don’t feel any movement until 24 weeks so not to worry. My placenta is high so can so I was told it can stop me feeling so much movement? Because I’m only 21 weeks she wasn’t worried that it was high. Perhaps your placenta is higher too?
I was a bit nervous about the scan but I told myself we’d heard the heartbeat at 16 weeks & all was well so nothing to assume it would’ve gone wrong between now & then also I’m sure at this point I’d known. I was less nervous than my 12 weeks scan! Most losses occur before 12 weeks & im sure your baby is fine but it will reassure you to hear that at your scan. 💗Are you finding the gender or do you want a surprise?!

Sadly we discovered I’d had an MMC at our 8 week scan a week and a half ago. They think the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks and a day. It was confirmed this Thursday and they fitted me in for a D&C on Friday.
I’m coming to terms with it slowly and trying to look ahead. Thankful not only that I got my first ever BFP but also that we were able to freeze 2 embryos after our first ever cycle.
I’ve read your previous posts about your journey and others on here and they keep me strong and hopeful. I know we will get our miracle soon and can’t wait to join the club! 🙏🏽😘 x
I am so sorry to read this. 😢Such a heartbreaking thing to go through especially when it’s so wanted. 💔 I had an early loss last year it’s unimaginable the sense of loss you feel. Do remember just because this pregnancy didn’t work out doesn’t mean the next pregnancy wouldn’t ❤️ most women who miscarry will go on to have a healthy baby ✨🌈 and so will you ❤️ Hope you have lots of support around you xoxo

Yes she is amazing it has been quite tough as there were some complications and little one has had a couple of problems but things are improving and we love her so much definitely looking forward to your happy ending too x

A little princess just wonderful! 😍 I think "normal" people who can get pregnant just by having sex a couple times 🤣 probably is abnormal for them not to have a preference with gender....we've just been through so much we just want a healthy baby full stop! How brilliant! It's mad isn't it? You spend all that time trying to get pregnant and the actual pregnancy flies by. I totally agree with this whole gender preference nonsense too- after trying for so long you don't care as long as you have a healthy baby. My aunt asked me if my husband was disappointed we're having a girl and,I said why would he be after everything? She didn't say much after that! Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy xx

How many weeks are you now? When is your next scan? Have you booked to a midwife yet? The early weeks are really hard, it does get better. ❤️Anxiety improves after 12 weeks. I think all women feel like that, but harder for us. This is your time ✨🌈❤️ xoxo

Congrats Jess! So glad it is going really well for you. I agree about the gender statements, it's a bit weird isn't it? I'm 13 wks so now telling people and it must be the first question that everyone asks me!!! You'd have thought by 2019 people would be a bit more chill about gender issues, but I guess not! Congratulations to you. I've got my 20 week scan on Thursday - feeling a great sense of excitement to see the baby again but also trepidation and anxiety, as I don't want them to discover that there is anything wrong with the baby, especially as we've had not done any screening tests. Lots of best wishes for your pregnancy.

Thanks so much lovely! They aren’t putting my dose up now as they are worried from my good progesterone month that I may over stimulate! Just fingers crossed we get baby made in the next 2 months and have a good few months xxx
