Hi Ladies,

Anyone feeling pinching feeling (like pin) on the left side of lower abdomen?

What does that even mean. Hope no problem?

You’ll get all sorts of niggles, twinges and cramps. Unless any of them are severely painful try not to worry, it’s all normal and down to your womb beginning to stretch to accommodate your baby xx

Hi Ebony, I'm told by midwives, gyny and my own research that it's all normal hun, easier said than done but try not to worry too much.

The sharp twinges and pulled muscle feelings are to do with the womb stretching and preparing for the developing baby. Some of this is also round ligament pain.

I'm just under 14 weeks and while the twinges you describe seem to have largely subsided, the pulled muscle/stretching feelings continue and I now find them reassuring as most of my other symptoms have reduced.
