So we made it past egg collection on Monday and heard today we have 6 embryos, 4 top quality and transfer is planned for Saturday (day 5) - we are delighted. BUT I’ve started these pessaries three times a day and they are giving me terrible trapped wind and constipation.
I just wondered what I’m allowed to take to relieve these symptoms if anything?
Thanks in advance 💕

Thank you so much for replying, I’m doing good on the water side, maybe not so much on the fibre side. I think I’ll try get some of that stuff you suggested Tomorrow! Aw that’s fab! Wishing you lots of luck for OTD✨💕😊 hope you’re keeping well xxx
Thank you I am trying to keep busy. trying not to look up symptoms but sometimes difficult. You have had a great start with 6 embryos and 4 top quality! keep positive but take each day as it comes. Don't think too far ahead xxx
Thanks for the advice, it’s the first time we have made it to egg collection and transfer so I’m a bit nervous 💕 hopefully we will both get our Christmas wish ✨💗xxx
It's my first time ivf. I'm taking each day as it comes. Not planning anything ahead. I have read alot of posts on this forum. Such a great supportive online community. You will read positive and negative outcomes but remember it's your own unique journey. But the nice thing is you are not alone. We are all doing this together and support one another. 🤗
Papaya is great for moving things along if you're wanting to get more fiber. All my sisters in law have 'slow intestines' as they call it here and swear by half a papaya each morning. Medicine-wise I'm not sure but wouldn't it be ok to take normal stuff before the transfer?
Hi everhopeful. Oh dear, not nice! Try something like Fybogel to drink. Lactulose is recommended by most GPs too. Old-fashioned syrup of figs might help too. Hope you're soon sorted. Diane
