Iβll keep this short but sweet because a) Iβm feeling a bit sorry for myself and b) Iβve been reading through some of my old posts and realise I waffle on a LOT, soz about that π
First of all, my sister texted yesterday to say my niece has got chicken pox so Iβm going to have to stay away from her for a while which is a massive bummer because I love spending time with that beautiful little weirdo. Secondly, I had egg collection today and unfortunately Iβve got mild OHSS so weβre going to have to do a freeze all which is a massive bummer but totally explains why Iβve been feeling so shit these past few days π Finally, we got out to the car after leaving the clinic and had a flat tyre so instead of getting home and straight to bed we had to make a detour to a garage. WTF is all that about eh?!
Anyway, on the plus side, they collected 16 eggs which is more than I expected so just praying a good number of them fertilise ππ»π€πΌπ Also, on our way home we saw this beautiful rainbow! SURELY thatβs got to be a good sign?!
Well, to say I was going to keep this short I have waffles on quite a bit so Iβm going to curl up, watch telly and eat ginger biscuits now!
Please say a prayer and cross your fingers that we have lots of lovely embryos in the morning ππ»π€πΌπ
Sending love and positivity to you all ππ xxx

Wow, that's a great number. Hopefully you will have a nice rest, recover quickly from your mild symptoms, have a great fertilization rate and move into transfer soon. Xxx
Wow, that sounds like quite the day. 16 eggs is fantastic! I hope most if not all are mature and you have a fantastic fertilization rate! Good luck on your call today!
I'm in a similar boat. I just had my egg collection on Friday and because of my risk of OHSS, if I have anything to freeze, they'll be doing freeze all. I'm sure your clinic has excellent FET success rates and your precious embryo will just need to wait for you to have a cozy, welcoming environment for it.
I'm not sure if I've developed mild OHSS or if it's normal symptoms, but I have quite a bit of bloating and haven't been able to eat or drink as much. Other than that not too bad. I hope you aren't too uncomfortable.
Keep us posted and I'll definitely be thinking good thoughts for you. Hugs. Xx ππ
Aww, sorry to hear youβre in a similar situation, itβs rubbish that you get yourself all psyched up for it and then the plans change isnβt it?
Iβve not had too much bloating but a painful tummy, a lot of nausea and a bit of vomiting. I thought it was just a reaction to different medication but the doctor said not π
Will do, thank you sweetheart, hugs to you too π xxx
Incredible result!! as the others have said 16 eggs is incredible! Really hope its great news from the embryologist this morning. I am convinced that rainbow was a really positive sign xx
Sending lots of good energy for you to have good embryos as a result.
Sorry to hear about OHSS, have been ther for my last 2 collections! So take good care of you, drink a lot and rest a lot. Tbh, I think FET provided the best results for us, indeed, after collection (which can be very traumatic for your body) you donβt have time to be in good shape for the transfer. So, maybe not be that bad!
Sending you lots of hugs and good energy for the coming days and take good care of you!
Thank you π We got seven fertilised so just praying that make it to blastocyst ππ»
Oh gosh, itβs horrible isnβt it? I feel like someone is tugging my ovaries from the inside and just a constant sickly feeling π A lot of people have said that they had success after FET, I suppose it makes sense because your body hasnβt recently been through any trauma, fingers crossed it works π€πΌ
