Letrozole advice

Morning all,

Just wanted a bit of advice regarding letrozole. My consultant has put me on 5mg for 5 days - cycle day 2-5. Other people seem to be taking it day 3-7. I was just a bit worried as my consultation was very rushed and I didn’t have time to ask any questions. It wasn’t written on my prescription either what days to take it on.

Also, can I ask around intercourse. Are you not supposed to have intercourse until they tell you?

I just don’t know what to do and my clinic is not helpful. I think after my recent failed IVF too my head and hormones are all over the place which doesn’t help.

Hi Steph

I don't have any advise re your questions but if you're doubting the consultant and feeling lack of trust is it possible for you to see another consultant at the clinic and get a second opinion? It may put your mind at rest. When I have any appointments I'm forever calling up to double check what was said as I find it all a whirlwind.
