IVF cycle cancelled - do I take Trigger shot anyway?!

We've just had our first IVF cycle cancelled due to only 2 follicles responding (possibly 3). I was so devastated I couldn't think of anything to ask and just ran away. Now I've had time to think and read blogs, should I take the trigger shot anyway so as not to waste an opportunity? I wanted to speak to the nurse about it but she didn't call me back and I might run out of time if I wait to get her opinion/permission. I don't think they'll be mature enough without the trigger shit...?! Anyone else had this scenario?! Xxx

I have not been in your situation and I'm sorry for the devastating news. I will suggest you take the trigger shot and try naturally. Miracles do happen and I believe in miracles . Wishing you the best.

I might suggest it too. Only because of two reasons - you never know and I had an abandoned cycle once where we just stopped and it took my body months to figure out what it was meant to do next. Xx

I had only one folicule and have taken the trigger

Had an egg who fertilise , 7 cels and now is 5db3d

Thanks everyone. Nurse got back to us at 8pm last night to give us the green light to do it. So trigger shot done, now fingers and toes crossed!! Xxx
