I tested today and got a bfn. Also af has arrived. This was our first cycle on the short protocol. Will be put on long protocol the next time round. How successful is long protocol? Exhausted from the past few months but will be back into the gym and shifting some of the weight gained due to the drugs etc. Looking forward to restarting in a couple months. Oh so sorry to hear of your BFN it's awful isn't it. I have my first ICSI in April and it's just so heartbreaking. Take time to relax and spoil yourself a bit you deserve it. I'll be starting my next (and final) round in september, and same boat as you ainneed to lose about 5kgs from the weight I put on from meds! It's so not fair. Take care and go do something nice for yourself. Sorry again hun I know how painful it is 😢 xxx

I’m so sorry to hear it, and sending wishes your way.

I had my BFN last month and was soul destroying for about two weeks. Time is a healer (though I know we’ll never get over all of this horrible journey) but I have picked myself up and moving forward. Try to book some nice things to look forward to and focus on yourself. It’s helped me.

Thankyou all for your support and replies. Af has started and i have to do my second pregnancy test tomorrow just to confirm. Everything is fine and were back to normal getting on with it. I believe that everything happens for a reason and we have to stay positive and continue. Its life at the end of the day. Thankyou once again for all your messages xx

Sorry to hear this Naz. We did long protocol last time and I didn’t really notice any difference to the short protocol. We were only holiday when I started down regging so I guess that made time fly a bit. It wasn’t successful for us but neither was short protocol! I think it is worth trying something different x
