Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone’s planned treatment went to plan? I know this IVF malarkey can be very unpredictable and before I go all gung ho booking off my holidays for my planned Scan dates I just wondered how many peeps treatments actually panned out as planned? I’m trying to get away with work not finding out about this first cycle, but debating how realistic that actually is!! X x x

Did your treatment plan go to plan?
My first 2 cycles went to plan but since then everything’s gone a bit down hill lol I would say once you start stimming you’ll have a better idea of how the dates will work out, could you leave it that late to book days off work? X
This is what is was going to say. Down regging can delay your period so things might not happen than you think. I planned ahead assuming my period would be late but it came right on time so everything moved forward! Good luck with the cycle xx
Thanks hunny, I’m really hoping it goes to plan, but I’ve learnt from all you lovely ladies that may not be the case 😊 x.
Hi Phillipsjp. Just wanted to wish you well with your forthcoming cycle of treatment. To be honest, you get a better idea of how it's going to pan out after your down regulation scan. Difficult to predict everything precisely. Thinking of you. Diane
Good luck! I’m starting down-regulation in approx 2 weeks. I guess you’ll know a bit more, just ask the clinic what appts they expect you to have.
Hey goodluck with your cycle I received my protocol today, it is definitely hard to plan. I start down regulation next week although ive just been given estimation on what will be happening when i dont really have dates so its hard for me as to book time off work. Im not sure if i will recieve a ivf calender which will be easier to understand 😑
Good luck with your treatment.. mine was pretty 2 plan until it was time for eggs to go back in my lining was just being a nightmare
Hi! I think I told my work I was having a procedure done and was waiting on dates for my appointment but would probably have a bit of time off at short notice for a consultation and then the procedure. No one probed any further. I work with men so I think they assumed it was “women’s problems” and didn’t want to ask anything further! Good luck x
