Hey ladies, I posted on here a little while ago and now our time is upon us. We are having our FET this afternoon and then ready to take on the rollercoaster of the 2WW.
Is anyone else out there having a transfer today? We can drive each other mad together ๐
Good luck to everyone else and I'll come back on here once we are back from the hospital.. first hurdle - hoping our little embryo survives the thaw ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
Speak soon ladies Xxx

Good luck & fingers crossed! I've been through nuremous 2wws. Here are some questions I was aware of whilst 2ww#1. First, if exercising was ok. Second, if I could still eat sushi as it's my favourite. Third, if I could dye my hair. My nurse explained I had to avoid strenuous exercise during the 2WW period, as it might affect the implantation process. But there are many types of moderate exercise that are considered safe. Jogging, running, lifting heavy weights, etc., are typically unadvisable. On the contrary, walking, stretching exercises, yoga, and pilates are good examples of exercises that you can continue to perform. Even regular workout, if you reduce the intensity and time, can be done regularly.
She told me it is safe to eat sushi and other dishes that include raw fish when pregnant. But, depending on the type of raw fish that was used to prepare the fish, you may have to make sure that it was frozen first before eating it. The amount of tuna and oily fish that you eat while pregnant should be limited, though. But this only applies to pregnant women, not during the 2WW.
And third, dying your hair during the 2WW wonโt affect implantation. Even during pregnancy, there is insufficient scientific proof regarding a potential negative impact of hair dyes on the unborn baby. I'm not sure why I'm writing all this, just some memories from the past..and what if you'll get a bit distracted from thoughts..Have every bone in my body crossed for you!! xx
