Hi, it’s been a while since I post something... it’s been a rollercoaster journey for us latly. We had to stop the treatment due to fibroids. Now we are back in the game. Although it’s going to be my 6 attempt I am dreading it 😰. the drugs give me severe migraines. Any tips or support from you lovely warrior ladies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 💖

Good luck. Hopefully 6th time lucky 🤞 xx
Thanks. I hope so coz I am not sure if I would have the strength to carry on. Sorry feeling a bit low today... How are you doing with your treatment? I hope you are ok. Take care xx
Hoping all goes well for you x
Hi mimisquiz77. Just really wanted to wish you well this time, and of course for success. Hopefully your treatment for the fibroids has worked and you will get a positive outcome. Hope the migraines settle. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi, best of luck with your treatment. Hope it goes well and you dont get the nasty side effects.
Ive just started my 4th cycle. Do you mind me asking what treatment you had for your fibroids? Ive got one which they weren't too bothered about before but a consultant said last week said she thinks I should have a freeze all cycle and investigate it, along with something else she spotted on the scan, before transfer. Ive got a follow-up appointment wednesday to ask the long list of questions I have, mainly why has no one said I needed to do this before! Would appreciate hearing your experience.
Xxx
Hi, thank you very much for your support. I had the same issue as you. They spotted the fibroids on my forth treatment but said it was fine. They thought at the time that it wasn’t getting in the way. Then I changed clinic. during my fifth treatment, at the new clinic, they decided to do a 3 D scan as they were concerned about the fibroids. Then confirmed that the fibroids was in the way and If i carried on with the ivf i would miscarriage. So we had our embryos frozen. I took a tablet for a month to shrink the fibroids. then, I had a minor surgery. I took a week off work. Then we were told to wait 2 months for my body to recover from the surgery. I wish you best of luck with your follow up appointment. I hope you won’t need any surgery. Feel free to email me if you want or need more details. Take care 💖
Thanks for your reply, thats really helpful. Ive had scans at 3 clinics, both nhs and private, and no one has wanted to touch it before although all commented that it was there. She also spotted something she thought could be fluid in one of the tubes so wants a scan for that so im wondering if she thinks as im having a scan anyway best to check. Will see what they say tomorrow, im really hoping its not surgery but haven't had much luck so far so will wait and see!!
Sounds like you have been through a lot, hope this round goes well. Will look out for your updates xx
