So I’ve emailed the consultants secretary to see when my follow up appointment will be as I’ve yet to hear anything.
Her reply was July however if I get in touch with my GP to send them a letter to say I’m clinically unwell it may be brought forward but I’m NOT unwell. I phoned and spoke to her saying that it wasn’t good enough and aren’t I under enough stress anyway with trying for so long and he’s supposed to be starting me on clomid again.. this obviously isn’t going to happen if I don’t have a follow up and I just want answers. She has said she will speak to her management team and even Mr Misra himself to see what she can do and will phone me tomorrow. If I don’t hear off her before 3pm I’ll be ringing her back myself.
I’m just so annoyed and inpatient!
Really considering looking into a fertility clinic to see what else can be done.
Sorry for the rant x x x

The wait for appointments is really frustrating. its usually around 6 weeks for a consultant appointment and then another 6 weeks for a treatment planning (nurse) appointment!
I've found that by asking for a short notice cancellation appointment can really help, although thats on the assumption that you are able to be flexible! I used to work in the hospital so it was never a problem for me, and even now a couple of days notice if fine!
I was initially referred as an urgent referral (as im also under oncology) and it still took 5 month before my egg collection! Fertility services are frustratingly slow, and its such an emotive speciality to be under!
I dont mind a bit of a wait these days once i have an appointment date as it allows me a couple of months to go on holiday and make plans woth friends before i start another round. For me its the not knowing that i find really challenging!
Sounds like your doing what you can from your end to shimmy them along, keep it up! x
