When can you bathe

My daughter has asked me to ask you all when is it safe to have a bath when you have your BFP XX

My clinic told me not to have a bath until after my 1st scan is there’s been a history of MC, I don’t know it’s that’s a ‘rule’ or just what they suggest x

I'd agree with this. I don't think you're supposed to have hot baths at all during pregnancy so I've been having lukewarm baths but didn't have my first one until I was about 12 weeks

I waited till after we had our 12 week Scan didn’t want to take any chances, also make sure the water isn’t too hot xxx

I’m just not going to have one. I’m doing nothing with any risk at all. I love my baths but I want a baby more.

Hey I have my normal hot ish baths. Have done since 8 weeks and 20 weeks now and all ok. I have started getting awful back pain so this helps. Just don't have scalding hot baths

I had a bath after 12 weeks. I got thrush the first time.didnt think much of it. But after my second bath, I got thrush again. Decided to stick to showers for the rest of the pregnancy .im 24 weeks.
