So I got a bfp on Sun 15th April using the cb weeks indicator, it said 1-2 weeks since conception which is correct. Tested again today using fmu and they are incredibly light still-should it not be darker by now?
I have been using the progesterone suppositories since Sunday morning as advised, due to previous miscarriages.
Any advice ladies? ( I should mention that I had a peak ovulation on 2nd April)
It’s still early days yet and they all look positive! Not sure if you have done more than one of the same brand, but I find that more helpful. Some of the cheapie tests are not as sensitive as the makers suggest in my experience. Better still, why not get a couple of blood tests done either from nhs or your clinic and then you will definitely know. Congratulations and good luck 🤞 xxx
Hi Hun, yes 3 different tests there and the first one was done using CB. I’ve booked a doctors app for this afternoon so hopefully they’ll run tests for me. 🙏🏾
Hi Queenketz. Make sure it’s your first wee of the day that you test. Maybe ask your GP to check with a beta hCG blood test to put your mind at rest. Hope all remains good. Diane
Thanks Diane. Yes it is the fmu, and I would have hoped for it to be darker by now. I’m going to docs this afternoon so hopefully they’ll check my bloods.
Them cheap tests are notorious for not getting dark when we'd expect then they start getting dark later on in my experiences, see what Dr says try get bloods done hun, congratulations Id say are in order my tests like that didn't get dark till 5 weeks I'm now 12 weeks.
Thank you Hun. I went to my doctors and she asked why I wanted my levels checked, anyway I’m now booked in for a blood test next Friday. This will be a very longggg 8 days but I’m trying to stay positive. Thanks for your reply hun! And wishing you a healthy pregnancy x
Hi, I tested this morning and the line does look darker so I’m hoping this is a sticky one. I think I’ll go for a private scan next week! Thanks again 😘x
