Slow rising HCG?

Hey guys,

Just got my results for the second bhcg from my FET... I don't think it's going up as they should from what I've read all over Google but still looks within range for this date. Any help?

Bhcg1 at 10dpt : 336

Bhcg2 at 14dpt : 869

Is this slow ? I'm panicking a bit.

Hi. Looks like you’re just pregnant, so do give yourself to catch up and stabilise. Hope all continues as it should. Diane

HCG is HCG; if it's not decreasing, you're fine and you're pregnant. I was 390 at 10dpt and I'm 7 weeks pregnant with no symptoms, I think it's likely my HCG isn't super high or ever was, and my scan was fine today.

Please try not to worry; if it's rising then you're OK. It's when it decreases or stays still is when you should check.

it needs to double every 48-72 hours which yours is, so take a deep breath and try and think positive. congratulations!!

Hey, I had slow rising HCG a couple of months ago but it wasn’t doubling within every 72 hours like yours is so I would be feeling positive. I’d also try to book in another HCG if you haven’t already, just so you have some peace of mind and can relax a little bit ❤️

I found this website helpful to work out the doubling time etc - babymed.com/tools/hcg-calcu...

Good luck!! 🙏🏼 x

Many factors can affect HCG. I had severe late OHSS and they were checking my HCG levels in hospital, telling me it had increased by only 10 in 3 days… I was devastated and spent hours googling, doing sums, trying to figure out if it meant it was viable.

Most people never know their HCG, and it does not accurately tell you if the pregnancy will continue or not.

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant, from that same embryo,

Best of luck! Xxx

My HCG was much lower at this point and didn’t even double in 48 hours I lost all hope but I am 8 months pregnant now so it did continue. I really hope it’s the same outcome for you I would definitely stay positive your numbers look way better than mine xx

it’s a normal rise! Most important is soon you should be able to do a scan and know.

See calculator and info perinatology.com/calculator...

Also levels above 200 at 10-14 days after transfer are associated highly with love birth ❤️

Best,
