Hi everyone, hoping you are all well. Well I never truly believed we'd get to this stage. I'm so excited i can't sleep and it feels like Christmas morning. Our beautiful hatching blastocyst was transferred yesterday and now all we can do is pray and wait. Unfortuately nothing could be frozen but we always knew that was possible. How do you cope? Two weeks seems a lifetime nevermind 9 months. Trying very hard not to get carried away but that seems impossible. All hope rests on the small blastocyst. Any advice please X

Transfer yesterday
Good morning and happy Easter Sunday !
I’m 6dp5dt and I know exactly how you feel. Luckily for me Easter is a special time so I’ve been keeping myself occupied with cooking and baking! Next thing to do is my garden I was always good at distracting my brain from real problems
Hope you can find something to take the wait if your mind! There’s nothing we can do now so just relax and get on with life (hahaha I would kill if somebody said that to me )
Good morning Buisquits, and happy Easter to you too on this beautiful day. (Think the ivf mindfulness might finally have had an impact lol).
Distraction is a fabulous idea. Normally I would be cooking too but my family are trying to protect me and my sister is doing Easter dinner tomorrow. Reckon I’ll take your lead though and bake this afternoon. Gardening sounds good too.
Really want to go to the gym but was told yesterday to avoid for the next two week so I’ll have to find something else to do.
Your right relaxing is the order of the day. Have an amazing Easter and I wish your all the best on this amazing journey. Xx
Ohh have they said no gym after transfer? I was going to ask on here what they say about exercise. Is it just for those two weeks? I normally distract myself with exercise so I guess I’ll need to find another hobby! 🙈
Fingers crossed for you! Xx
That’s exciting! Remember it only takes one ❤️ The 2ww is so difficult but keep yourself busy and distracted. I’m in my 2ww as well, just transferred yesterday. Best of luck xxx
Good luck for the 2ww, it is tough to get through. All I can advice is to keep busy, make plans to meet friends, watch films/box sets, go for nice walks etc 🙂 xxx
Best wishes and fingers crossed for u. Yep def does feel like a lifetime but positivity, mindfulness and trying to get on with general routine helped me😀 good luck 🤞🤞
Good luck to all the ladies on the 2ww x
I had embryo transfer after ICSI 15 days ago and the prospect of the two week wait until test day was daunting. Honestly I just took one day at a time. It soon passed. I also had to keep myself from getting carried away!! I looked at baby clothes and nursery stuff online a couple of times but stopped myself just in case. I kept myself busy in other ways (housework mainly!!) I hope you find something to occupy you until test day
