You’re testing sooner than me, I had fet last Friday and test date isn’t till Thursday. Feels like I’ll never get there!

It seems so long at times... time to find a new hobby, watch lots of box sets on tv or sing along to the radio? 🤔 sorry for the rubbish suggestions xx

It’s been the longest wait ever! And makes it worse that my partner is away on a stag do!!! 😢😢 xx

Hi Lisaworthy1981. I'm on day 10 after a 5 day embroyo transfer. My test day is this Tuesday, eekkk! How have you been feeling?

Hi!! Yeah mine was a 5 day transfer too!! Do I seem to be testing early then?? I’ve been ok really!! I had bad stomach cramps on day two then that went!! Now I’m just left with headaches and towards the end of the day I’m quite bloated!! How you feeling xx

Has your clinic/hospital given you a date to take a test? I had cramps two days after my transfer, I also had cramps on Thursday just gone, I've been feeling sick every now and then, I had quite a lot of sharp twinges within the first five days after the transfer, my boobs have been so so sore since taking the stimulation drugs (they are not as sore now). Currently feeling very bloated but I think this is due to the pessaries I'm taking. My abdomen area also feels very sensitive to touch. Is this your first IVF cycle?

Yes they’ve given us the 4th!! I felt a bit yuk this morning but don’t no weather it’s just me thinking it if that makes sense 😂!! Yeah my boobs were sore whilst on injections and it bit after ec but not too bad now!! My stomach is quite hard, but like you say that could be the pessaries too!!

Yeah this is our first ivf cycle!! They only got 4 eggs but 2 made it to day 5 so we have one in and one frozen!!! How about you xx

We are currently on our second round of IVF. We had out first cycle in September 2017, they got 28 follicles but unfortunately none of them fertilized 😔 (the Hospital I am at said that this was very unfortunate). We then started our second round of IVF (ICSI this time round) at the beginning of this month (March). They got 13 eggs from me this time, 11 had mature eggs in them and 8 of them fertilized. When day 5 came, they called to inform me that I have 5 very high quality embryos so I've had one put in me and the other four have been frozen 😊

Oh wow it’s all such a rollercoaster isn’t it!! We had ICSI too as the small problem is with my partner!! They wouldn’t transfer both into me as they said I’d carried a baby before so could be at a big risk of multiples 🙈!!

I’m just getting impatient now and want to no what’s going on inside! Are you feeling quite positive xx

• in reply toLisaworthy1981

It is such a rollercoaster but I good one 😉. I have Polycystic Ovaries so I don't ovulate every month like most ladies. Some days I feel really positive and others I feel slightly negative but I'm guessing this could be just down to my hormones. I'm getting slightly nervous though now as our test date is approaching, it's nice to know that we have four that have been frozen so if this round doesn't work, we have some there waiting 😊

It is!! But I’ve found it absolutely amazing at what they can do!! And et day I was just like wow when we saw it on the screen!!! Ah ok, yeah I’m a bit the same!! The first week I was quite positive but as it’s getting nearer I seem to be thinking quite negative!! Maybe that’s just to prepare me incase it doesn’t work this time xx

It is amazing!!! This time round for me was such a better experience, I was in so much agony the first time round. They said this is because they got 28 eggs from me and everytime they remove a follicle, it's a puncture everytime! This time with them only getting 13 from me, I felt a lot better. I was so so nervous waiting for the phone call the next day as last time when they rang the next day that's when we was told the sad news that none of the 28 eggs fertilized. It was such a relief to get past this stage this time round. Which clinic/hospital do you attend?

Oh gosh bet you were! I was in pain with only 4 but it didn’t last long!!! The phone calls were a nightmare too!! I was dreading them!! Everything has been spot on for us so let’s keep our fingers crossed!! Where at Chester!! How about you xx

• in reply toLisaworthy1981

I'm at Manchester. The 4th of April for you isn't that far away, it will soon be here. I wish you the best of luck, keep me updated 😊

Ah we couldn’t go to Manchester as they don’t accept now if you have a child! Even from a previous relationship!! So we go transferred to Chester!! They have been amazing though and all so nice!! Thank you, sending luck to you too xx

Best of luck honey. I got my doctor's call last night. He asked me to visit the clinic on Monday. Can you share your experience? I am so nervous. The emotions are making me go gaga. Is the procedure painful? What changed did you have in your body. Some answers can help me a lot.
