We'll never forget our "bat babies"...

Last night, just after midnight, we were standing on our balcony in Egypt watching fireworks and drinking pink fizz to toast the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 (we booked a last minute holiday to get away from it all following our miscarriage at nearly 6 weeks on 1st Dec) when all of a sudden, and out of nowhere, we saw what we think were two bats flying around... a truly spooky moment but we like to think it was our bat babies saying hello!

Happy New Year to you all... here's hoping that 2018 brings you all that you could wish for and more besides... xxx

What a great idea to get away. And Egypt sounds wonderful! I’m sure you did get a little sign from them 😊 Happy New Year xx
