Implantation cramps
Hi Gillyc1. Any pain following embryo transfer, is usually down to the cervix and womb settling back down after manipulation and procedures. There shouldn't be any actual pain from implantation, just occasionally a tiny, tiny bleed. Hope this helps. Diane
I think it depends if you have had EC or if it’s FET. If you’ve had a fresh cycle then I don’t think you can tell the difference between implantation and ovaries settling down after EC. I had pains for 7-8 weeks after my EC. On my last FET I got some minor pains 2-3 days after transfer when it’s meant to be implementation time. Mainly on the left hand side but a few on the right. Then they stopped for a couple of days and then came back. I did get a BFP at 9dp5dt but unfortunately tested negative a couple of days later and it turned into a CP. I do believe the pains the first few days were implantation pains (though I only had one embie transferred so not sure why I had pain on both sides) but I don’t know if it is normal or a sign that it hadn’t implanted properly.
I had bad implantation cramps i was 5dp5dt and literally felt like I was being stabbed in my lower tummy on 7dpt I had my positive test! Wishing you all the best xx
It’s my daughter who has had icsi. I’m so desperate for her to get her dream. We are analysing everything at the moment. Not letting her do anything, just making her sit while me and my mum do everything while her hubby is at work. She has been having a few things happen today in her tummy. Only another 8 days to wait xxx
As this post is so lovely, your daughter is very lucky to have you and you're mam, good luck with the results xxx
