So my daughter has been for a scan this morning and one of her 6 follicles on her baseline scan has gone. She has now got one at 16, one at 15, one at 14 and two at 13. Back again one Wednesday for another scan then they are planning egg retrievel on Friday. Let’s hope it’s good news and her follicles keep growing xx

Try not to worry, the stimulation drugs will help the follicles grow and nurture, and the dr will know if she is ready for EC. Hopefully they are monitoring her stimms throughout the next few days which may need to be increaded/lowered. Good luck to your daughter. x

Hi GillyC1. That's not so bad, as by Wednesday, hopefully they will have grown more. You're looking for the leading one to be 17mm or more, and don't worry if they need to increase her medication. Keeping everything crossed for her. Diane

They'll keep growing but you don't want them really big as I was told the bigger they are the chances are they'll be the ones you lose after collection. Wishing your daughter good luck x

Sounds good to me! By Wednesday probably the 16,15 and 14 will be retrievable at least. However, I think all of them will make it and be extracted on Friday. Let's hope for the best. Sending your daughter lots of love and sack full of baby dust for IVF success.
