Initial IVF apt. Need Advice.

Hi all. Its been forever since I've written on here and I'm hoping i haven't left it too late for some advice.

We live in Perth Australia and have been lucky enough to get a spot on the public system mid last year (feels like forever ago now) we hve been classed with unexplained infertility both of us in normal perimeters for the cojillion and one tests we all have to go through. We did super ovulation hormone treatments with timed intercourse but no luck. Never ever seen a bfp in my life (31 on sunday been ttc for 3 yrs). After none of the hormone treatments didnt work we were put on the ivf wait list and told we will get a call Nov 2017......we've had our call. Updated all our bloods/tests etc. Again and have our initial appointment with a clinic tomorrow (we get put through a private clinic that bills the public hospital system).

Is there anything I should be asking?

Has anyone asked for an immune pannel to be done?

I've been struggling to get my head around the idea of ivf i always thought id conceive naturally (which im sure is true for most of us) so bn a bit negative in the last cpl of weeks. My OH is positive and taking it all in his stride but making babies with needles seems odd to me (dont get me wrong i hve nothing against it) just feel a bit lost and confused. I really want a lil one so guess will slowly come to terms with ivf as i start to go through the process. I dont feel scared or anything just very unsure bout everything and was hoping you amazing ladies would have some tips on things to ask. Im not very good at speaking up at the time so might need to take a list.

My husband and I have been doing ivf in England, ut my brother and sister in law went through IvF in Brisbane. If they mention age or weight and possibility of low egg quality, considering asking about DHEA... that is one thing I didn't ask aboutand am regretting it now...learn from my mistake. Ask to speak to the embryologist znd whether or not they offer embryoscope or embryoglue, ask them what additional services they offer like acupuncture, reflexology and most of all, do your research beforehand....the better informed you are the less likely you are to be hoodwinked!
