Having a down day πŸ˜“

β€’12 Replies

5 days have past since my transfer - I woke up today sure that this hasn't worked 😒

Ive had a few symptoms last few days and today ive nothing....

This 2ww is enough to send anyone insane!

I was going to spend the day in bed, feeling sorry for myself and asking doctor google for advice - but instead ive dragged my ass out of bed, been to the shops & im spending the rest of my afternoon baking with my music on loud!

A week until OTD -🀞 I can do this!! Give me strength πŸ’ͺπŸ€πŸ˜ xoxox

Hi, it was an excellent choice of yours! Doing things and having some fun is muuuch better than giving way to anxiety and stress. It's still too early to know, so please don't get into stress, as it is the worst enemy right now. And it's also too early to feel pregnancy symptoms. It's been only 5 days! Yet, reading some information about the possible ways to increase your chances might be a good thing to do. Wish you all the luck in the world and a BFP!

It's perfectly normal to have down days. My moods this week have been so up and down my poor hubby can't keep up. It's a mixture of the stress/anxiety and the hormones.

Baking up a storm in the kitchen sounds like a fab idea to keep distracted. Hubby and I have just booked a night away on October. The idea being if we get a BFP it's time for us together to reflect and celebrate. If it's a BFN then it's a night away to drink my body weight in prosecco 😊whatever our result it's something to look forward to.

Hope u feel better soon. Lots of love πŸ’•πŸ’•

Thankyou! I feel like a bit of a twat today, im not going to lie!! I have been very up and down this week too. My other half is contemplating moving into the shed πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

Ive been under control up until today - its the whole not knowing that gets me. Its my first time, i dont know what i should be feeling or thinking right now! Grrr!

Going to take the dog for a walk whilst the cakes are cooling down. Keeping busy is vital for me πŸ˜•

Thanks for your replies! Xox

It's perfectly normal to be up and down. The waiting is awful. I'm at the point now where I'm thinking even if it's a BFN I just want to know then at least it stops all the wondering.

It is extra hard when it's your first time. Don't think too much about every little twinge/symptom/feeling from your body. It will drive you insane. Last time I was convinced 100% it hadn't worked just from me thinking 'I know my body'. My test date was actually New Years Eve. I was so convinced it hadn't worked i had an outfit out ready to go to the pub in and drown my sorrows. Got the phone call and it was a BFP. Put the outfit away and put my pj's in πŸ˜†

It just shows that essentially it's out of your hands now. Looking after yourself is the only thing you can do now.

Keep yourself busy. I bet by your test date you and your dog will have walked 1000's of miles πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ’•πŸ’•

I feel the same. I just want to know. Regardless of the outcome I just really want to know. I refuse to test early! I wont crack and do it...i'd rather wait & have the correct result!

This part has definatley been the hardest. Ive been signed off for next week too. So I plan to take my dog out each day to the coastal places i want to visit but are too busy on weekends πŸ™ˆ I must keep busy! Im hoping when my OH is home later and i have some company ill feel alot better!

Wow - new years eve test day!! πŸ’• Id prefer pjs to a party dress these days anyway!πŸ˜‚

Sounds like you've done the right thing of keeping busy, the tww is definitely the worst!

Try not to think about symptoms it's still really early and lots of women have got BFP without any symptoms, totally natural to have up & down days - sure my hubby gets whiplash the amount my moods change πŸ˜‚ xx

Whiplash πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ i think mine is feeling the same!

Trying to make plans foreach day so i dont go stir crazy! Only a week to go xox

Our poor Hubby's, they do suffer in their owns ways! Lol

I know how hard it is but good idea to have plans made at least it keeps you occupied, hope the week flys by. I've got to wait till Tuesday to do another test before they'll book my scan it's like the tww torture all over again xx

Omg that does sound like torture! 2ww and then another!!! Makes me geel bad for complaining now πŸ™ˆ xox

Im ok today! Ive just been to the craft shop and bought lots of stuff for me to make next week and keep me busy!

This is definatley the hardest part. By far πŸ˜•

My poor little dogs legs are worn out πŸ˜‚ another nice walk today with my OH and a roast dinner. Doesn't help im signed off and home alone 6 days out of 7 at the moment.

Whens your transfer? Xox
