2ww - 11dpiui - tempted to test

I had my first IUI on 31st August so Im currently 11 days into the 2ww. AF is due on Wednesday 13th Sept and the clinic arent testing me until the 18th. I have a day off work today and Im home alone and so tempted to do a HPT. Good or bad idea? xx

I was in a similar position yesterday, really felt the urge to test but didn't. If you can hold on to OTD it's the best way to not get false hope or disappointment. I know how hard it is though especially when your off work xx

I know, mines tomorrow and I'm like should I test tonight then have to tell myself 'no first urine is the best' 😂 hope you get get your BFP xx

Sooo tempting!! AF due tomorrow and if it doesn't arrive by Monday then Ive to go to he clinic for a urine test. That'll be 18dpo. Im guessing it would have been earlier if it wasn't a weekend. Should I test on Saturday? I have a hen party Thurs-Sat. Not sure if I should go. Im pretty anxious about it and if I am preg then I dont want to be stressed out. Especially after my v early miscarriage in April. xx

I would have thought that 18 days po would be safe to do a home pregnancy test?

If AF doesn't arrive Im going to do a HPT on Friday or Saturday morning so that'll be 15/16 dpo.

Yeah you're right about the hen party. I'll see what the rest of the week brings. Hopefully a BFP! xx

You can take a test, just to satisfy your curiosity. But make sure you're prepared mentally not to conclude a BFN is at all. At 11dpIUI I think you can take an HPT. If the embie has already implanted (happens as early as 10dp fertilization) there is a chance it will reflect on the HPT. I know it's too hard to resist and it's fair enough to go for it as long as you're a week post probable fertilization. Good Luck!
