Crinone gel coming out brown! 6dp 5dt IVF

Hi all,

Did anyone get brown lumps within their gel coming out at this time? My blood test is in 4 days and it can't come quick enough! I'm praying the brown lumps are old blood from implantation!

Can anyone help ?

Hey, I had this try not to worry. The brown blood is old blood which can be caused from cuts in the cervix during transfer. The pessarie can soften these and cause some brown bleeding. Mine was also lumpy too think it's the pessarie that all lumps up xxx

I am 5dp5dt and only those morning noticed a light brown almost pick goo come out when I was in the shower so it was funny to see you post the same. I give up trying to figure out what all these meds do😯good luck for otd when is it?xxx

And you 🤞 what symptoms have you been having? I'm very gassy and had cramps on and off since 2dp 5dt, I'm sitting in the clinic now getting checked out as had a really sharp pain by my pubic bone xx

It's most likely old blood. The gel does very funnny things. I had greyish lumpy stuff come out with it. Yuk. Try not to worry and good luck for your OTD xxx

Hi, I had that too right up to 9wks pregnant. It could just be the crinone irritating the lining as well xx

My clinic said to expect it as it's old blood coming away due to a build up of the gel or due to it irritating the cervix. I noticed it more if I didn't do the 20minutes of walking straight after using it xx
