Hello ladies, I'm new to this group so thought I'd introduce myself.. We've just started our 3rd round of IVF started Buserelin injections on sat... First round was in Jan this year after 2.5 years ttc - didn't respond well to stims only got 1 egg which didn't fertilise 😭 so game over straight away. Second round they increased the dosage and I responded better with more follicles and they got 4 eggs - 3 were mature and 2 fertilised and I had 2 embryos (an 8 cell and a 4 cell) transferred on day 3. BFN on June 21st - had to wait 6 hours for call re blood test results!! Devastated as we were feeling so positive due to a much more successful round and thought at least 1 would take but wasn't meant to be.. Anyway sorry for long post but 1 quick question - I was due on around the time I started the buserelin on Saturday and still no sign will this be because of the drugs?? Last time I got my period bang on time with the down reg drugs so never know depending on where I am in my monthly cycle!! Thanks

Hi! Welcome, youve had quite a journey. We are just at the stimming stage of our first cycle. Im regular as clockwork but I was about 4 days late with my period when taking Buserelin so I'm sure it's on it's way. Good luck with your cycle!

I think my cycle was different. I took the pill for a month. Then started down regulating 2 days before I stopped the pill and then after 5 days of down regs I had my period. I guess it's more controlled when on the pill.

Not sure that helps. But I bet af will arrive soon x fingers crossed for a successful round!!!🤞🏻

Welcome to the forum! I don't think I can be of any help as I had to take provera to regulate my period just before I started buserelin due to my pcos. Sounds like you've had a tough time of it. Wishing you all the best. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🍀🍀🍀

Hi dear, it's normal for periods to delay on buserelin. For me too AF showed up 2 days late. So relax and it will show up. I too was worried like you and was unexpectedly happy to see them after so many months (as I used to cry after each period episode)
