Trigger shot done last night ✔ egg collection tomorrow.....

So after a long time waiting for this moment... it's finally egg collection day tomorrow. Appointment to be at clinic for 7.30am. I dont think i will sleep a wink! It's been a long road to get here and i know it's only the beginning of my journey.... but I'm ready to start this next step. If do anything to give us a chance at this.

I'm abit scared, but after reading people's stories of saying it's not so bad I know I can get through it......

Hope everyone is ok wherever they are at.... I pray we all get the outcome we so badly want.......

I bet it does..... I only have experience of short protocol. But have so much respect for you ladies injecting longer! I see you start stimming soon. Hope it speeds up for you. You are doing so well xxx

Ah thank you, yeah start stimming on Tuesday have quite mixed emotions about it but will be glad to get onto the 'next stage'. Hope tomorrow goes well, you'll have to let us know how you get on 🙂xx

I have just read that you are a nurse too. We make the worst patients ha ha. Honesty you will be fine the worst part for me is the cannula going in 🙈. I have done it twice now and can't remember anything which is a blessing. The fentanyl made makes me constipated (sorry) so have laxido to hand.

Aww bless! Its really funny as I can take blood of others..... and no problem doing it. But when the needle is turned on me it is so different! I literally had to close my eyes every night as could not watch the injection go in and would get so panicky over it! Thank you for the advice (and it's fine, I bet you are the same talking about constipation or body fluids doesn't make me squeamish lol). After seeing it everyday at work it's just a dinner table topic lol. Wishing you all the best Xxx

Eek so exciting! My egg collection was an absolute breeze, I fell asleep! I was a bit emotional when I got back to the room, think it was all of the build up getting to me. Just drink lots of water, I mean looooaaddsss as it will help with the bloating. Best of luck babe xxxxx

Good luck! I have my egg collection tomorrow morning at 10.30 having done my trigger shot last night. Hope you aren't in too much discomfort. This is my second go and I was completely out of it for the egg collection and woke up v relaxed afterwards xx

Glad it didn't hurt as much as you expected. Were you completely out of it? 'm ok. Feeling quite sleepy so taking it easy this afternoon! Been told to drink lots - 1-2 litres a day, avoid fried food and eat lots of protein.xx

No I was awake. I had expected to sleep but was just drowsy but the time went so quickly! How about you did you sleep? Yes I am drinking lots of water now... ah I'm glad you mentioned that they didn't give me any do's and donts! Glad you are taking it easy. You deserve it. Well done! X
