Me & my girl ❤️

I think often on this journey we become so blinkered to what we're 'fighting' for we forget what we have. This is me and my gorgeous puppy Tilly (who's now feeling a lot better).

Many of you know I got her after my miscarriage, I will forever wonder why I was dealt this sh*t hand of infertility, why my baby died and why I'm still 'fighting' to complete my family with a healthy baby but one thing I do know is if I wasn't wondering all those things I wouldn't have her.

She has brought comfort to me on my darkest days, each night she sits by my side while I do my injection then gently rests her head on my stomach, she's my little saviour 🐶❤️

Anyone else have animals they are forever grateful for? Xx

What a gorgeous picture. Thank you for sharing, sometimes just knowing someone's username doesn't make them seem like a real person. I haven't got a dog but I'd love one and yours looks like he brings you lots of joy xxx

Thank you, she definitely does. I'm not very good at sharing with people 'i know' about what I'm going through but have realised I need to be more honest. So thought a step in the right direction would be to share 'who I am' xx

Aw sorry to read that, thanks he shocks me every day - we had a girl that died at 7 and the vets said be prepared for him to go soon but he's just thrived without her lol xx

Totally gorgeous both of you! I would be lost without my two dogs, my cockapoo (a curly version of your dog) and King Charles Spaniel. X

So true, there amazing animals x

I have 2 cocker spaniels lunatic and chaos and 2 cats marmite and purdy . The dogs where bought 1st one when we where trying naturally and getting no where the 2nd one after my 2nd failed cycle, I'm not allowed any more dogs though boooo! Lol

They all know individually when mammy needs a cuddle. The youngest dog is a year and he's a complete monkey but still manages to bring a smile to my face every single day even when he's danced on the dinning room table or chew a new kitchen light that was waiting to be put up 🤤.

I certainly wouldn't be without them there spoilt rotten too 😂.

Tully is beautiful and it's a lovely photo of you both.

Good luck with your cycle xx

Ah that's so lovely. Sounds like my hubby - he's like we're not having as many dogs as unsuccessful cycles 🙈Haha sounds like my youngest cocker spaniel Marley, he's 4 months but already I know he's gona be a cheeky chap but that just makes him more loveable. Thank you xx

in reply to E_05

Yes cheeky chaps are definatly more loveable lol my mam says chaos just has character LMAO.

I think a dog for every unsuccessful cycle would be a good idea 🙈 especially a cocker spaniel 😊xx

E_05 profile image
E_05 in reply to

That's very true! Lol what's the age difference between your 2? Xx

in reply to E_05

2 years between them, they are wild together .

My mam has a cocker too she's 20 months and she has them all 3 together when we are at work 🤣 they send her loopy at times but she still wants a 2nd one herself 🙈 xx

Ah sounds like my 2, everyone said we were crazy getting another one and while Tilly was still young but I love it couldn't be without them.

Haha I bet they come back from you mums knackered then xx

in reply to E_05

Lol the certainly do 😊 lol lol.

I think all cocker owners are a little bit crazy 😊 but life would be boring if we weren't lol xx

She's gorgeous!! I'd love to get a dog 🐶 but hubby won't let me. To be fair our lifestyles wouldn't be fair on a pup but I just feel like I want something to love and look after!! We're moving house soon (hopefully!) so he's said we can get a kitten when we do. (I love all animals so although I'd love to have a dog I guess a cat is the next best thing haha!)

So lovely that you have her to bring some joy into your life during this difficult time xx sending you love and luck xxx

E_05 profile image
E_05 in reply to NsKaz

Definitely I think that's what animals are amazing for they give a sense of purpose. It's somebody else that 'needs you'. Good luck for you house move and your future kitten xx

Lovely pic and agree with every word you've said. We've got 2 now, both bought after miscarriages and we love them so much! As you say they get you out of your darkest hours and are the reason to leave the house and go for a walk when you just want to stay in bed all day!

Good luck with you coming cycle xx

Gorgeous photo! X yep I have my cat Stan he is a terror at times but always seems to know when I am feeling down. Had an unsuccessful first round and as much as I can't wait to start round 2 am equally as nervous thinking what if this one doesn't work either. I try to be positive but am scared at the same time xx

E_05 profile image
E_05 in reply to cls37

That's totally understandable your feeling like that, I find it hard cause I know to have my baby I need to go through this but we also naturally try and protect ourselves from my heartache. Lots of luck for when you start, remember you've always got lots of support on here to x

We took in stray kitten after my miscarriage at around 13 weeks. Also a Tilly. She was our surrogate baby til Martha finally came along 4 years later. She gave us so much love and comfort. We almost list her rta in March but thankfully she's pulled through x

Aw what a lovely pic ❤ We got 2 bichon frise dogs who light up my life...they're both so sensitive and sweet...and ever so slightly bonkers! Our 2 have certainly been the glue that's held us together and got us through the tough times and some really dark days over the last 5yrs ttc.. I don't know where I'd be without them 💕🐶🐶💕

E_05 profile image
E_05 in reply to Oakey80

I think their bonkers times help lighten the mood I know it does with my 2. With you on that one, she's got me through some of my darkest days, my mum always says it's like she knows she was brought for more of a purpose than 'just a pet dog' xx
