I'm sorry hope85 this must be very stressful for you, I know it's quite common for women to spot in early pregnancy and everything can be absolutely fine. I would head over to the early pregnancy unit first thing tomorrow morning and they should be able to scan you and check all is well. If you start to get uncomfortable pain I would go straight to the hospital so they can examin you earlier. Hopefully it is just some spotting and everything is fine inside. Xxx
Thank you! I am going to call the clinic tomorrow morning I think, I did call the out of hours dr but he wasn't very helpful. He basically said that it could be spotting or early stage of a miscarriage and unfortunately there isn't any miracle Pill they can give me! Lol so didn't really put my mind at rest. Hopefully when I speak to one of the nurses tomorrow they will be more sympathetic. Xx
I had exactly the same thing when I rang the out of hrs gp he was really of no help what's so ever. Once your at the clinic they should take a urine sample and then book you in for a scan to check all is well. just remind yourself that this could all be perfectly normal I know quite a few friends who have had this and all has been well. I'll have my fingers and toes crosses for you and pray all is wellxxx
Oh! I hope all is well tomorrow.
Yes spotting can be very normal- but if it does progress to heavier bleeding or pain I would go to hospital.
Otherwise relax and rest as much as possible until tomorrow
And don't let them send you away without scanning or testing you ! X
Good luck
Try not to worry (easier said than done) I had bleeding some brown, some bright red from week 6 to now (week 9) and it's only just stopped and all has been ok so far. Try as rest as much as possible and keep hydrated xxx
Thank you button! I'm just taking it easy and going to call the clinic in the morning. Not much else I can do is there. Hope your ok? Xx
Unfortunately there isn't and any form of blood and spotting sets us in panic mode, my clinic told me it's very common and as long as there's no pain or filling a pad in under an hour not to worry xx
It's got a little heavier and it's red now. Don't know what to do xx
Mine was more bleeding than spotting and it varied from brown to bright red. Hopefully your clinic will see you tomorrow if not go to your local epu xx
I had two massive bleeds in less than a week that filled a pad and a bit within half an hour with clots and everything was fine. They could see where the bleed was but don't know why it happened but it can be quite common. Fingers crossed for you xx
Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞Hope all goes well xx
