Ivf & new job

Hi everyone, we've finally got to the preplan appointment stage which is next week. Really excited now as the nurse gave me all the dates over the phone so it made it more real. I've just started a new job about a month ago which I love. I only work part time so it would be easy enough to work around appointments without telling them, but I've already made up my mind that I am going to tell them. It's only me & my boss in our team, and I feel that he would definitely be supportive as he has two very young children. I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation? I have my 'speech' worked out in my head already, ha ha!

Exciting that you have your first appointment, bet you can't wait to get started. I've been lucky to have had two understanding, supportive bosses during my cycles. It sounds good that you'll be able to work appointments etc around work, and I'm sure 'the chat' will go fine. Xxx

Hi Lilli79. That's good to know that you only need to confide in one person. Not so easy if your confidentiality gets leaked out into a whole office. Just wanted to wish you well with it all when you cycle starts and good luck with the "speech". Diane
