We went for egg collection yesterday morning and afterwards was told out of seven follicles aspirated only three eggs were retrieved. I felt a bit perplexed and deflated to say the least. Then the dreaded words, if they dont fertilize overnight then we would be at the end. Thats when it really sunk in, how much I really really want this. I was clung to my phone this morning as the clinic said theyd ring between 8 and 10. I started work at nine and got the call at 9.20am.....It was great news, all three eggs were matured and all three fertilized normally. Hopefully theyll keep fighting long enough and we could do transfer on Wednesday or Friday at the latest. Im relieved as feel there still might be a chance. Thank you so much, Im feeling more positive again. I was dreading the EC but luckily it wasnt too bad. I have a bit of tenderness today but nothing major. I went to work but just didnt do anything too strenuous. Best of luck to you for Weds xxx

It is so like that isn't it but I think having these moments where you almost fall is part of this hideous journey and I have kind of come to expect these moments now..as long as you get your embies home then the rest hopefully takes care of itself😀😀😀I am hanging in there😁😁😁😁xxxx

Hope they continue growing and multiplying inside 😊 I'm going for EC is the morning and although I've done it before I'm dreading it as now at a different clinic. They've seen 7 follicles on my scan too, so maybe 7 is the lucky number 😊 Good luck for ET xx
