Smear

Hi ladies

Just a quick question when do you get called for a smear? I had my first one three years ago in March and my bday is August but they always call first timers 6 months before but does this revert back to your bday for following years?

Hi Hydromermaid-1. Women over 25 years of age are invited to have a cervical smear every 3 years. This is timed from smear date to smear date, so the fact that you had one in the March, I would remind them that you are due one in march this year. should any suspicious cells be found at any time, then they will ask you to attend more often. Thank you! I did have it in March last time so have booked for a couple of weeks time was just worried about trying to fit it in before FET
