Egg Transfer Done!! 2 ww begins!!🤞🏻

Hi all we had our one little fighter transferred today, was amazing to see on the screen/ultrasound and so lucky to get a time lapse video as these are normally reserved for private patients, well worth asking embryologist before EC. In and out within 40min, brilliant staff can't thank them enough!! 2ww begins!!

Thanks Kelly-03, time lapse is when your fertilised eggs are put in a different incubator that has a camera that records and monitors cell division rather that the embryologist having to take the eggs out and look at them under a microscope which a change of atmosphere can effect them. It also helps them to decide which is the best looking egg for transfer, worth a read up on it, I didn't even know about it till someone mentioned it on here as my nhs clinic didn't mention it as it's mainly for private patients (£400) but when I asked the embryologist before EC she said I could have it!! Xx

if you can have the time lapse imaging offered for free definitely take it! We've been offered it as an add on at £700!
