Last month or so I have been through a hard time-and I thank you all for being there for me.
I got my period yesterday-never thought that would ever make me happy!
My GP insisted I contacted the clinic to take the clomifene this cycle as I have a 3.3 cm corpus luteum cyst on my left ovary-I think he thought it was a bad idea. Although my left ovary volume is over 23 cc and by his admissions large-not so big to indicate OHSS which was a massive relief.
I have decided (although it was hard) not to take the clomid this cycle. I am pretty sure my period will get rid of the cyst-I'm having a painful and heavy cycle.
My ovaries have been in pain -I don't need put them under more pressure by taking clomid. We have decided to try naturally this cycle instead!
The scan report has been sent to thd consultant and I dare say I will hear from him in due course.
I have got in touch with the nurse via email (who is aware of the situation). I have asked if it would be ok to start clomid thd following cycle. Fingers crossed that I will be able to 🙏🏻
Much love and baby dust to you all-may all your dreams come true!
Hello jess. Its brillaint news everything is okay and u can finally nmove forward. So sorry that ur suffering becuz of af this cycle. Take it easy and chill. I hope the pain eaase off soon. Ithink its a good decision that u r not going to take the clomid .give ur body and u a break. I was also going to do that but wasnt brave as you.did you hear anything bk from pals jess ...lots of love for you.xxzx
I did but I cancelled the complaint- my husband worried it would affect the way were treated. To be honest we like our consultant and don't want to change consultants.
Hun I'm not that brave- I was given no choice- if I had done so it would've been against my GP and consultant. When all this happened I was ordered by consultant to stop medication- I was beside myself. I am hoping that he will agree I can re start clomid next month. Believe me there have been lots of tears and tantrums to get here!!!
You will get there hunni- I'm sure the clomid will work. If it has made you ovulate in the first two it will continue to build in your system- they do say the longer you take it the better it works. Have faith lovely- please don't give up. My consultant sent me a letter which he told me I wasn't ovulating regularly- he wasn't right as I had a high progesterone blood test level first cycle- and this cyst I have is caused by ovulation. So my point is these medics aren't always correct. You know 80% of women will ovulate on clomid.
It doesn't help when your clinic let down with appointments- you don't need that stress on what is an already stressful time.
