Got a rotten cold
I know it's miserable but l wouldn't take the chance 😊
Hot honey and lemon? And paracetamol?
Paracetamol is safe so take as much as you need up to regular daily dose. And 'soother' lozenges are ok. I asked the pharmacist in Boots a few weeks back and that was what he said. He also said doing drops of olbas oil in a bowl of steaming water and putting your head over it was ok - I didn't bother! Plus lots of water and lots of sleep and lots of natural vitamin c! Hope you feel better soon! X
When I am in the "trying" part of my cycle -I adopt a pregnancy lifestyle. I take paracetamol for any colds-this is safe to take during pregnancy and can help relieve pain and reduce your temperature, I also boil a kettle and put the hot water in a bowl and put a towel over me and breath in the steam for 10 minutes-this helps to clear my sinuses-I frequently get sinusitis this really helps get rid of it, if I have a sore throat I put some honey and squeeze a lemon into a cup and add a little water and microwave it for 30 seconds-I find this more effective than any cough medicine I've had-it was a remedy my lovely late grandmother used-some of the old remedys are the best! Obviously I realise you are taking folic acid- perhaps take a pregnancy supplements, lots of vitamin c and probiotic drinks can help keep colds at bay.
Hope you feel better soon x
