So had the final scan today and unfortunately my body didn't react to the drugs as they were supposed to so they have had to terminate the cycle, not even getting to EC!!
Gutted doesn't come close to how I feel, but i have to pick myself up and hope that next time they get the dosage right.
So it's back to the waiting board to be able to start again.
But I still have one little bit of hope as my stomach lining was a really good thickness and one follicle ready to burst so they have released that one and we have to just hope that it gets fertilized on its own seeing as we had a chemical pregnancy last year, so with the womb lining helping us out this time round will just have to stay positive.
Good luck to everyone right now πππ

So sorry to hear this. I reckon our next cycle will definitely be the new year too but you know I reckon Christmas will be here before we know it. Take care of yourself xxx
Yeah I hoped that this would have been my year but it taken a year to get going due to the list my partner is really muscular and his bmi was over 30 so he had to loose the muscle which turned to fat to qualify so that was a bloody nightmare.
But hay ho like you say hopefully new year fresh start, and 2017 will be our year π
I hope you are doing ok tho hunni sending you big hugs
I had pretty much the same news on Monday. So my thoughts are with you. It is the second time ours has been cancelled. So we will probably have to look at donor eggs or adoption now. Probably the latter. It is like I am grieving. Your's sounds more hopefull. My lining had thinned to 1mm and the three follicles were only 3mm. And I was on the highest dose so that is it for us. This is such a difficult journey isnt it. I am trying to enjoy living drug free with more energy, coffee and even wine. Good luck for next time. It sounds like there is lots of hope for you. So hang onto it. X
I know how you feel. My first cycle was cancelled as I didn't respond. Its bad enough not being able to get pregnant but then to not even make it to EC made me feel awful. 2nd cycle I had a massive response to an increased dose of Gonal F and nearly over stimulated and then got a BFP. Good luck. x
Oh wow congratulations this has it made me happy to read, I just hope that win a higher dose next time round it will be ok as they were growing once they had upped the dosage but was a little to late at the end.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I completely understand. My FET was cancelled for a 2nd time on Tuesday as my lining can't get thick enough and I'm not responding to the drugs. It's such an empty feeling, horrible feeling. Sending thoughts and strength
Sorry to hear this emma-jane-30 ! However maybe its a good thing that the clinic have stopped things now before they got any further as this hopefully shouldnt count as a cycle! Its hard getting built up to something that never materialises, we all wait so long to get started then to get it stopped must be such a let down! Treat yourself to something nice and have some nice time with your other half until its time to try again!xx
Yes I completely agree with you. I have got my head around it now and I would rather then of canx this one and then start again with the correct dose and give my follicles a better chance.
Sorry to hear that emma-jayne, it's a lot to go through to find out you can't progress to the next step It's great that you're staying hopeful, let's hope that one big follicle is all you need! Good luck x x x
I had a similar situation in February when my body didn't respond to the meds. Our clinic suggested that I still take the trigger shot and release my one and only egg. Not for one second did we think it would end in a pregnancy yet here we are - our little miracle is due 2 weeks tomorrow.
