I wanted to share with you all that I went on my 20 week anomaly scan today and was greatly relieved to find out that everything is fine with our little boy whose growth is ahead of his due date by around a week and a half. It was amazing to see his face, fingers, toes etc. I finally feel like we are almost out of the danger zone and that this little one will be able to join us in the real world! IVF or any kind of infertility is such a tough journey and having been through it I feel for all you ladies still on your journey. For us, we will probably not attempt another as I'm already nearly 42 and it's been an arduous process to get this far. But I'm so happy that it has come so far and wish you will all get your BFP and little ones soon too.

Dear Rose -La-Milli, many congratulations on getting this far. I really hope you can now relax and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and birth journey. Wishing you all the very best and it's brilliant to hear this news for us over 40's. Did you use your own eggs, sorry I'm not sure of your story. Thanks. X
Hi London RC, Yes used my own eggs. Did the first collection in April 2015 and the successful embryo was a Grade 2- from this - so not the strongest on paper. I also did another collection in October/ November 2015 but this one never yielded any successful embryos.
Thanks for update. So this was your 3rd try Rose-la-milli, (I love your name by the way!) Or did you conceive naturally in the end? I'm 43 and about to have my first round, difficult to know if I'd do a second if outcome not sucessful. X
