Returning to work after EC??

How soon can you return to work after EC? Forgot to ask my nurse and EC is tomorrow?

I had general anesthetic so took day of and day after EC to recover.

I hope EC goes well.

Luckily mine was on a Saturday, so I had the Sunday off work as usual and was fine to go back on the Monday.

Everyone is different I've had 2 first one felt awful for the following week. Second one I was dog walking the following day.

Be kind to yourself, if you can have 2-3 days min do it😍

I've had 3 rounds of egg collection and have gone back to work the following day for each one. For the one that hurt the most I was a little tender the day after but not so much that I couldn't function. For the other two I was completely fine the day after. Good luck!

I booked a day off after EC just in case, but ended up cancelling it and going back to work as I was feeling fine. good luck x

Mine was in the morning and I felt completely fine after and probably could have gone to work that afternoon (depending on your job). But I would say take the day off and return next day. You may need two days if you're having a general anaesthetic.
