Hi there!

I had another scan this morning and all 4 babies seems doing well( well im early days and only 7,5 weeks along).

I never knew that within a week baby grow twice the size ( so they roughly 1,5 cm each ).

Great picture. Are they going to scan you more regularly due to multiple pregnancy?

So clinic discharged me.

My local midwife is going to send me a form which i need to feel in and book an appointment with her.

Kings hospital won't see us till im 12-14 weeks along so only then they perform tests and willadvise whether we should have reduction... A bit late/ cruel i think... Not like im thinking its the way forward for us anyway!

I'd ask for an earlier scan. Waiting until the ususal 12 week scan would usually be ok but with 4 babies i'd want to know all was ok in there. You could say it's to put your mind at ease after previous mc. If NHS won't do it you could pay for private scan.

Its early days but at least I'm not having any discharge like i had last year when ilost a baby at 9 weeks...

They are so beautiful, I bet your charges are excited! My charge is 10 and I can't shake off the feeling that her mum might be carrying twins this time. She's due her scan any day now (currently 6+4), but as I'm on summer leave I probably won't be told. Don't know if she'll tell her daughter. I think I'd want all 4, but you can't tell until your in that position. I used to specialise in multiples, including highers (4+). I'm thinking of returning to it next year, so feel free to pm me anytime xxx

Hi pritsko2011. All looking pretty good to me! In my midwifery days I only ever encountered two sets of quads, one natural conception and one was with Clomid. Both sets were born by C-section at 35/40wks and were good weights. It was amazing to be "in on the births", and something I shall never forget. Just to make you laugh, I remember saying that the one lady's womb was like a "space hopper"!! Thinking of you lots. Diane

We had 2 embrios transferred and both devided so its 2sets of identical twins.

Im reading a book about multiples by american doctors and finding it interesting ( packed with loafs of info!).

Hi pritsko2011. Sounds like a good read. Yes, I read how your little ones had separated. Start and make sure you get lots of rest when you can, as you're going to be a big girlie! I'll save a couple of my size 24 dresses I wore before I lost loads of weight!! Diane
