Finally feeling positive after first round failed as no response to drugs. Was worried at scan this week that didn't have loads of follicles (also I'm 40), but today there are lots and the left ovary in the last 2 days has finally decided to join the party. Feel so happy although I'm still a long way from the finish line. Just have to contend with a 5 hour drive to the clinic on Saturday for the last scan.

Thanks guys. Felt so happy last night and then got early morning phone call to say they were slightly worried about my blood levels and the fact I might hyper-stimulate or ovulate myself. Bloods checked today show LH hasn't risen again but they'll decide after bloods and scan tomorrow whether I go for a freeze all. I know this doesn't mean the end but I'm gutted. Can I get off this rollercoaster now please!

Feel for you x can feel like you're bashing your head against a brick wall x know that one so well x so many hurdles to get past x I'll keep everything crossed that it all goes ahead and your body " behaves" itself x it's one long waiting game x of highs and lows x hope is the only thing that keeps us going x but at times that can be impossible x and that's ok to feel like that x
