Waiting for the call

Had egg collection yesterday wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Had 22 eggs very happy as I'm sharing them so 11 each . Waiting for the call to see if they have fertilised so anxious . I'm a bit disappointed that they may have to freeze my embryos as I'm a high risk of Ohss I'll find out at scan tomorrow. Hope you ladies are well x

Thanks jojo 7 out of 11 fertilised so very happy , fingers crossed I can go ahead with transfer I'll find out today x

Hi Leanneb85. I had the same situation as you. They collected 22 eggs and said I had mild OHSS. I found the days after egg collection awful (the worst bit for me) - waiting to see how many had fertilised, not knowing if transfer would go ahead or if we'd have any worth freezing. Plus I felt bloated, tired, constipated and uncomfortable! But transfer did go ahead on day 5 and I'm now over 5 weeks pregnant! It did make the OHSS flare up again so had a week of being extremely bloated but better now. Good luck and fingers crossed for you! X

All ok a little bit of fluid round the ovaries but not much so thankfully transfer is going ahead. Just got to keep up the protein and water which I'm finding very difficult I'm so sick of meat and eggs lol but hopefully the outcome will be worth it best of luck on your ivf journey ladies x
