Calling the clinic on day one

Hi All, I am due to phone the clinic on day one of my period to hopefully start treatment. I am on short protocol, do they usually just order your medication and book in your teach appointment or do you have to have a scan aswell?? Thanks x

I had the prescription early on so called they said start and booked me in for a scan....

I am due on Sunday/Monday but me and hubby are going away for a week today but if need be we will just have to drive back if there's any appointments to attend. Thanks x

First time and this time I had to order drugs first after seeing nurse to be shown how to administer them, call on day one, go in for scan then start the drugs. So I've already received my drugs. Waiting for my cycle to start over weekend meaning baseline scan will be monday hopefully! Give the clinic a call to double check their routine on this, might be that they have your drugs or something. Last time my drugs were on next day delivery as when I saw nurse my cycle was late, so said rather than wait, just get the drugs on express delivery to start when my cycle did, so don't panic. I was asked to call on my first day of period to start the treatment. I called them up yesterday. Today they have arranged baseline scan in few hours and will handover me the injections. I am on short protocol too. Probably will start my injections from Sunday or Monday( will come to know today). Xx

I was also on short protocol and had my teach appt in advance then they sent me medication through post. On day 1 I just started the injections (had a wk on pill first to get day 1 at the right time). I didn't have any scan until a few days in, though I did have a scan at my teach appt which was a couple of days before I ovulated the month before (so about 2 weeks before day 1). Good luck with it all!

I may be different as I don't do the contraceptive pill bit at the beginning of my short protocol, but both times I've had the meds delivered in advance of my day 1 phone call as I need to start them on day 2/3 once I've had my first scan.

I called the clinic this morning as I have come on she took all my details and told me a nurse would phone me within 72 hours with an update as to what happens next. I am guessing they will order my medication, book me in for a teach appointment then I will start Feb. I am happy if that's the case just got to wait for the call now x
