Stitch like pain

Hi, had egg transfer on Wednesday, now today I have constant stitch like pain in my left side near waist. Has anyone else had this? I don't know what is normal or not and freaking out! Any help and experiences gratefully accepted.

Thats was the same as my wife but hers was on the right hand side , we was told it was the implantation of the embryo, she could feel something happening and seemed very painful sometimes, don't have hot baths or use hot water bottles.

Don't do a test too soon because it probably will say not pregnant as the HCG hormones takes around 7-14 days to build up.

We did around 7 tests, first 2 neg next five positive with disbelief.

Good Luck !

Yes I had this. I am still getting it now. We had transfer 26th June and am now 7 weeks pregnant. It was worrying me but turned out we had nothing to worry about as our icsi had worked first time. Keep thinking positive but remember your body has been through a lot. Good luck

Hi Novice1. Sorry hear of your discomfort. I assume that you have had a fresh cycle of IVF/ICSI.? If so, remember that you have had a lot of “pulling about” during all the procedures you have been through, so hopefully, it is all just down to that, and all will settle back down. Make sure you drink plenty of water in case your ovaries are still a little active. Obviously if it worsens, then you need to see your doctor for advice. Hope all works out positive for you. Diane
