Are the chances of falling pregnant with a frozen transfer lower than a fresh cycle?
Hi.im due to have an fet in the nxt month.i failed my first cycle of fresh ivf but im defo more positive about having an natural fet.the way i see it and many other women ive read about,if an embryo can survive being frozen and thawed its a good sighn.4 frosties is a very nice number to have as well.ive only got 1 but its top quality.from what ive learned fet's ar the way to go.its not so harsh on your body eitha.good luck.x
Hi the chances are lower but remember they would not freeze them if they didn't have a chance
Yeah I suppose you are both right they wouldn't freeze them if they didn't have a chance. I was initially told they did not think they were going to freeze any and then they managed to freeze four. Good luck to you both xxxx
Hi. Remember too, that those who survive the freezing process are going to be tough little cookies to have gone through freezing and thawing, and in my experience I have witnessed many FETs that have ended in live births. Also, the freezing techniques these days, called vitrification, does away with any ice crystals that used to form, causing problems when thawing. So all in all, success rates are very much improved, so best of luck! Diane
