Does anyone know if 2-3 weeks is a normal showing for a first test?. I was expecting 1-2 weeks.

Hi that is normal stella as I know some one on hear that got a 2 -3 weeks on her first test too, hope that puts your mind at ease, and her baby is due in 3 weeks time so don't worry x

Yes it's fine. It's to do with hcg levels. They count back to beginning of ovulation when they calculate how far gone you are so I think the tests are geared up to reflect that.

Our 'conception' date was 4th June and yet a test would say I was 6 - 7 weeks pregnant. I couldn't get my head around it at first but don't worry!

Congrats! Did it work first time?Yes, it means baby has got good levels of hcg (or possibly twins lol!)

It's so exciting isn't it? I had my first ever positive result a week ago so I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant now Like you it was my first attempt, it feels like I've won the lottery. I can't wait for my 7 week scan. Where did you go? I went to Nuffield in Woking. Good luck with everything xx

When mine should have read 2-3 it said 3+ weeks, so normal. We only had 1 egg transferred. Hip, hip, hooray!
