Just been to get my prescription for peseries and they said it was £81 omg I thought ide payed for my drug package :-( gutted.

Hi Stella I did not realise you were paying for your treatment, that is very expensive especially just for those. Have you not been taking the pessaries straight after egg collection as i remember I had to start those the evening after egg collection.x

Yea as if the treatment isn't expensive enough. Yes they gave me a few to start with and I have to pay for the rest but wasn't expecting that. I thought ide have to pay £7.20 odd ha

Yea I would of thought the same as £7.20 is normal prescription charges, I hope you got a good supply of them for that price.x

No because my husband had a child from when he was 17. He is not on the birth cirtificate and they moved away cause they were too young. We pay for that child but never seen him.

You could give it a try but if it does come back negative don't be too surprised as it is still early. A massive good luck if you do decide to test im really exited for you xx

ASDA is the cheapest. My clinic only does the pessaries for 2 weeks unless you have a hormone imbalance. Some clinics are extra cautious. I would ask them. We were self funded. Try paying for 8 boxes of gonal f!!! I was on 600 units per day.

Oh heck, well I payed £600 for drug package and they Gave me enough to last up until test day but the dog destroyed a few so I thought oh it's ok I've got a prescription for more but not knowing what it would cost me. Thing is I don't need them if I'm not pregnant so am gonna do my test few days early to see the outcome. Going to test in morning.

Ivf ordered 70 and they won't let me reduce them now. Testing 3 days early but giving it a go.

This is what happens in a day 5 transfer :

-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing

0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst

1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day

2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining

3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining

4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining

5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &

fetal cells

6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood

7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops

8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops

9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Hi. I got 14 days worth of pessaries in with my drug pack then if you get a positive test result, they give you another prescription. We had to self fund had one nhs go last year. I had to get more gonal f. Just got the bill £222! Congratulations on the test result.

Wow! I thought £30 for 2 weeks worth was bad. That is terrible prices.

That's disgusting, we payed for our drugs and the pessaries were included in that, good luck with everything xx
