Really sharp period pains 4 days afte... - Fertility Network UK
Really sharp period pains 4 days after egg transfer :-( is it a sign I'm coming on my period.
A bit soon for your period to be coming on isn't it? If you were down regulated and brought out with gonal f. You should only be day 20-21 max in your cycle. I had cramps too that felt like my period, it wasn't!
Maybe it is then. I've not counted this time and my injections were messed up and took my last gonal before anyone else and had trigger shot after I should. Was given wrong dates just gets me worried. I've had these mild pains since day one of transfer and just getting sharper cramps like it's my cervix opening.
Hey, are you taking aspirin and praetors? I also have little stabbing pains but doesn't feel like period pains. I had transfer on Thursday, col was mon. I put it down to all the poking and proding so try not to worry xx
I had my embryo transfer on Monday. I've had the odd period type pain since and the odd sharp pains in my ovaries but nothing else really. My first cycle I had period pains all the way through my 2ww so totally different this time. Because of that I'm panicking a bit that it hasn't worked. Trying so hard to stay positive until d day Friday. It's so hard not to read anything into every twinge or pain isn't it!? Good luck for your test day.
It's very hard! I had mine on Tuesday. Not taking anything but cyclogest morning and night. Hate the feeling of period pains just feel normal apart from that. Not herd a success story after period like pains yet. Fingers crossed for all x
Me. Treatment #4 and #6. I was sure it had failed as I had really bad cramps, the kind I get before my period starts. It was 5 days after the egg collection. I thought it was a bit soon considering my period was always 13 days after the embryo transfer. I guess it was the egg trying to implant. #4 didn't take, I got a positive test, but period the next day. #6 turned into a baby girl. So don't panic yet. Just take it day by day.
Don't worry just yet I had normal period pains an was convinced it hadn't worked but turned out it did so try not to worry just yet
I had cramps too and I was worried but like the others said you're body's been through a lot. Try to relax until d day (!) - easier said than done.
I'm 5 weeks 4 days pregnant so just wait and see xx
Wow that's made me feel good. These 6 days have been torcher but feeling hopefully after all yr lovely comments x
Just to add to what everyone has said the pains your feeling are most probably just your ovaries slowing shrinking back to their normal size. Remember due to all the hormones you were on your poor ovaries will be 2-3x larger then normal. So the cramps are normal and it would be far too early for them to be due to AF. So try and relax and enjoy it as you are PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise) xx
Most definitely not thinking it's a positive but the comments have helped me not rule it out completely like the period pain signs can be positive. That's all I needed and I guess that's why I love this site and all the lovely ladies that help each other x
I was like that and am now 11 weeks pregnant so good luck and fingers crossed. X
I've started having twinges at 6 weeks.... I'm thinking it's my uterus starting to expand and my body preparing...
It's easy to feel paranoid but just remember how much your body has been through. And if you are pregnant what is about to go through.
Take it easy and fingers crossed
